Mat Pilates is a series of exercises that primarily uses your own body weight resisted movements to build your core strength. Mat Pilates is done on a mat and utilizes controlled breathing to get deeper into your abs. This class is an amazing way to not only strengthen your core but also develop amazing flexibility and mobility within your body.
Brandi Weston started her professional career as a dancer in musical theatre. Pilates was always a part of her training! After performing in NYC, touring the US, South America, and the Mediterranean, Brandi came back to where she grew up in Upstate New York. There she met her husband and started a family. Realizing how much she loved pilates she decided to pursue her comprehensive certifications. She is trained through Power Pilates, Balanced Body, and has her PMA. Having almost 10 years of teaching experience, she still loves it just as much as when she began. Brandi specializes in athletic training and bringing pilates to all using functional movements.
